Spike & Dig Information
Spike & Dig is one of the world's largest co-ed outdoor 6-on-6 volleyball tournaments with over 300 teams and 2,500 players. With six adult divisions, two SHS divisons, and one JHS, there is a division for all ages and skill levels. The cost of the event is $190 for an adult team of seven players and $170 for a SHS or JHS team with seven players, with a $35 charge for each player after seven. Free Parking
No overnight parking or tent camping. Dry RV & trailer parking will be permitted at $20.00 per day.
The city of Spokane will be charging and enforcing a $10.00 10'x10' per shade tent/trash fee. Tent permits can be purchased Friday at Packet Pickup & Saturday at the Master Scoreboard. Teams/Players will be able to setup shade tents starting Friday after 5:00pm.
Shade tents will only be permitted on the grass fields only.
Coolers & ice chests will be permitted.
The softball complex adjacent to the grass soccer field will be hosting a softball tournament
so all softball fields will be off limits during Spike & Dig.
The synthetic (soccer/football) fields will be used for special activities
that are planned during Spike & Dig weekend.
No outdoor barbeques or open flames will be permitted
anywhere on or around the Merkel Sports Complex, including Joe Albi stadium parking lot.
Pets or any tobacco products will not be permitted
